Don’t buy into the myth that your dog is too old to learn. Just llike humans, dogs can learn throughout their lives. These classes can be a great way to build a bond with a new rescue dog or just help your dog become your best friend! We often find that after training the dogs sleep for hours because the mental stimulation is just as good - if not better -than physical exercise.

Real Life Training
Because your dog will spend much of their life outside, we train in the great outdoors for the majority of the time so that your dog learns around the distractions the outdoors presents.

What we cover in the training classes:

* Name recognition
* Making eye contact
* Touch
* Sit / Down
* Meet and greet manners
* Discuss play skills and how to identify 'good play'

Building the foundations to learn:

* Impulse control
* Walking on a loose lead
* Recall
* Stay

This class is for dogs aged over 6 months. This class is really only suitable for dogs who are happy to be around other dogs and humans - please get in touch if you are unsure, as we may be able to suggest some other support.

We are also on hand to discuss the many topics on your dogs behaviour, i.e. Toilet training, crate training, mouthing, chewing and others. If you have any particular issues with any of these topics, it may be useful to book a 121 session to iron it out sooner rather than later.
