Come join us for an introduction to gundog training!

For many people, a good gundog is the epitome of a well-trained dog. Walking to heel, resisting urges to chase animals, remaining responsive to their handlers even at distance - these are all skills that many of us would find useful without ever needing to go pheasant shooting!

This 6-week introduction to gundog training has been designed to build foundations that are useful for any dog owner, whether they have a traditional gundog breed or not.

We will look at:
walking to heel (which has some different requirements in the gundog world to other dog sports)
build the foundations of a solid retrieve to hand (even for dogs who like to parade or play keep away!)
work on steadiness (impulse control for gundogs)

This will all be covered in relaxed Houndability style, where the most important thing is you and your dog having fun together
